Just finished Unscripted - sometimes the view in the mirror is not what you'd like to see. Years of ideas, years of excuses, and years of execution for someone else's business. BUT that means execution is not wanting, it's refocusing the process - because the process is working, just not working for me.
If I can grow a business 3-4 fold to just shy of 8 digits annual revenue for someone else, building hundreds of happy customers on the way - I should be able to deliver value to my own customers.
Time to set a good example for the kids, to show them they should be unscripted .
Ironically I was unscripted at 11 through 16, and then somehow fell for the increasing pressure to 'get a real job' - instead of working for myself. Almost manage to unscript myself at 25 (without knowing that's what I was trying to do) and then fell down the rabbit hole again. Scary how many years I've been in Wonderland - but the good news is that while the body might have aged, I like to think the mind did not.
With two teens, headed towards the conveyor belt, I need to ensure they see it's possible to be unscripted ...
