My final success story of 2010. My stock investments went up 56.5% in 2010. For almost 2 decades, I have only held 6 stocks and 2010 was no different.
No gold. No tech.
I also had no activity in 2010. I am a firm believer that activity and inactivity are both rational decisions. Either can make or lose a lot of money if done at the wrong time.

I strongly believe in associating myself with talented entrepreneurs. I find killer owner operators and ride their coattails. This is like finding the best in a sport and getting paid a cut of every endorsement they get - tax deferred.
I rarely sell. Many stocks have been in my portfolio for more than a decade.
In general, I buy at 2x book and 10x earnings; otherwise I watch and read, or play World of Warcraft.
