I have been busy using my time constructively with a balance of rest and recreation. I have not had a chance to add substantial contribution here on the forum, while steadily seeking answers and opportunities. I now feel I have come to a point on the path to entrepreneurship, where I better understand what I need to pursue.
I am finishing The Great Rat Race Escape after also reading The Millionaire Fastlane , and Unscripted . I am aligned with MJ's perspective. I also gained considerable knowledge from these books, principles, and strategies. I have highlighted many parts in the books, and so many of those parts are things I have tried to tell others, about the ways we could live so much better.
I have always felt it silly for every family member to leave their home every day, return just to eat and sleep, then repeat this process for a lifetime. This to me was senseless, even though I too have been partially sucked into the script. I'm realizing I have lived a life of struggle, battling the forces trying to keep me there.
Your books showed me that I need to lean heavier into the unscripted that I have always believed in.
As a former stay at home mom, (spousal)business partner and farm owner, I worked 17 hour days for my family. It was all work that I truly loved, while my intent was so that all my family had to do each day upon their return, was enjoy their home. I left no chores for anyone to do, so they could just play or relax as they chose. (This backfired and I was taken advantage of, but that 's another story!)
I now have gotten to the point that I can come up with lots of ideas for asymmetrical returns, but have no background at all in any types of manufacturing, distribution, legal areas, etc.
I have made it to the chasm of my knowledge gap. Since I have always embraced challenges with enthusiasm, I look forward to finding the answers I need!! The frustration comes in the slow going because it is all completely new territory for me!
My head is spinning with all of it - the formulas, terminology, etc. I have taught myself many things over the years, so plan on doing the same with all of this!
