I'm on my way back after barely surviving the global financial crisis and losing a lot of income. Value investing is now my vehicle.
My problem has always been impatience and poor discipline. How do you discipline yourself not to spend the capital you've saved for investing? If I put cash aside, I often find another opportunity for it before any of the stocks I want to earn reach a price I feel is reasonable. Knowing it's for my future is all well and good, thinking about delaying my gratification for increased future pleasure is ok, but I always seem to screw it up.
How do you stop yourself from being your own worst enemy and "eating the seed corn"?
