Hey guys,
I want to share with you a valuable resource. Its called the VSE model or the Vision-Strategy-Execution model AKA the "Ready, Aim Fire" model. This is similar to the Business Model template.
As Fastlaners we like to talk about Execution. This model kind of gives you a better idea on how to better execute. I think strategy is a very neglected subject here. Although we did talk about Blue Ocean Strategy.
I love models. They help you organize your thinking. They bring clarity. They make it easier for you to analyze your assumptions and thoughts. The last thing you want to do is fail because you never took the time to analyze your premises.
I was part of a start up in college that failed. And one of the reasons I think it failed was because it lacked a clear model of how we were going to make it happen. There was so much we were unaware of and lacked clarity.
