Hey guys,
I'm a 19 year old student currently in my second year of university pursuing a degree in business management. I read MFL a week back (Brilliant Read) and that's what's brought me here. I'm halfway through unscripted and so far it has been amazing.
As long as I can remember, I've always wanted to be rich. But I never figured entrepreneurship to be my vehicle to wealth. By virtue of the script, I still remember 12 year old me googling what the highest paying "job" was, and starting to prepare to be an aerospace engineer. A few years later, when I was around 16, thanks to my habit of reading, I discovered that getting a high paying job wasn't the only road to wealth and I made up my mind to pursue entrepreneurship. And ever since then, I've been a sponge for knowledge, trying to learn everything I can get my hands on, and I must admit, for a while, I was stuck in an action faking phase, just devouring, books, courses etc while not really taking any action. However, in the years since I've discovered entrepreneurship, I've tried a few things with varying levels of success. And looking back now, I realise the ventures that fell on its face were business' that didnt comply with the 5 commandments. While learning, digital marketing is something I gained extensive knowledge on, and is also through what I've made the most money from.
As of now, I'm a full time student, and fortunately my parents are paying for college so I'll be graduating debt free. I do freelance digital marketing gigs on the side which make enough money to cover my living expenses (and fund my little ideas when they pop up) so I'm able to lessen the burden on my parents. Ever since reading MFL, it has given me so much clarity on what kind of a business I wanna build. I've figured that knowing to build a software product will go a long way in today's business environment, especially with AI, machine learning and the such becoming increasingly prevalent. So right now, my focus is on learning to code (I have zero programming knowledge) while I try to come up with a fastlane idea, and I'm sure being a part of this community will be a massive advantage, just as much as reading MFL has been an eye opener. Any advice/suggestions to what I should be doing is welcome.
Thanks to all in advance, and I hope to have an exciting time here.
