Hi everyone! Another newbie has joined the Fastlane!
I'm based in Bulgaria and I'm learning about investing and building a financially independent life.
Corona caused a big splash in the finance world and feels like these could be the last minutes to jump in the already leaving ship of ''never waste a good crisis" opportunity and I'm looking for some tips on how to get started with building my investment portfolio.
I've been reading up some info about investing in different asset classes, both lower and higher risk, and am curious to find out some real life experience stories to learn from in order to get on the fast lane of financial independence. I have some money that I'm willing to gamble with and would appreciate some knowledge/experience sharing, especially about alternative and passive investment methods. I feel like I have some basic understanding about more classic and straight forward passive methods like stocks and ETFs, and I'm curious about what I understand to be a relatively new and potentially more potent (while also higher risk) asset class - investments in loans/p2p investing. Crypto to me seems too technically advanced safety wise, but perhaps that's just my newbie's fear.
Anyhow, happy to meet you all, and if you have any experience about investing in loans specifically, I would appreciate if you would share some of your learnings and what to be aware off.
