Well, not sure if anyone else here uses this tool:
instantdomainsearch.com
It's not my site nor am I affiliated with it in any way. In fact, I wanted to warn you all about it. Last week I decided on some domains I would purchase for my digital product(s) that I'm working on. When I went to purchase a few of these domains right now, it seems half of them were taken, even though they were available just a few days ago according to the tool.
Okay, possibly the tool made a mistake, so I figured I would look the domains up on who.is, just to check. Well guess what, the domains were registered just 1-3 days ago, very shortly after my searches.
Sure it's possible they were snatched up randomly, but I get the feeling some of these domain search tools will buy up domains and park them. I'd read about this in the past somewhere but didn't believe it. I believe it now. It's just too much of a coincidence to ignore.
So I'm just warning you all - be careful when using these types of tools when searching for a domain. You may just be giving away your domain name ideas.
