I posted something about this in the regular forums and now that I have access here I feel as tho I can put more details out there to see if it may be something to go forward with.
so here goes nothing.
ok this is a tad personal for me but Id like to remove that from the discussion and just discuss the idea.
so anyway. the name of the website is www.scanformyman.com lol
the idea to the website would be if your husband/boyfriend/significant other is out of town on business or you are going out of town that you can post info and picture and location of where he is staying and have people around that area looking out to see what hes up too.
there could be rewards offered for information/evidence posted. its like having a friend of yours spot your man somewhere they shouldnt be...except its strangers/users.
now my issue is the fact that ideally it would take many members across the county to make this work. I am wondering how the initial start up for something like this would work.
I would need to have an incentive to get the spotters to the site. the incentive for the user is obvious. what would make a person be the 2nd or 10th signup? It could be something that they sign up for once with the local information filtered and sent to the correctly located people automatically. that way they dont have to check in all the time for no reason.
I guess it could be started in 1 major city then expand that way. just to focus on one area first.
i would definatley have adsense and maybe some affilliate products to promote possible even create my own product when the need arises.
I guess it could also be used by the spotters to find out whos a dog and whos not,
if that too good to be true guy you met at the bar last night has a wife and kids somewhere...
