While doing some Kickstarter research these two campaigns caught my eye due to the volume of interest they have both garnered.
Yes they are both Staff Picks which obviously gives them more exposure but even so the mug is awkward to use (watch the video and see how you have to use two hands to put the cup down while there is fluid in it).
And the Zen Egg? WTF? Talk about emperor’s new clothing. Yet over 1400 sold and counting.
The thing that ties these two together? They both tell stories however farfetched each one is. Both are concentrating on selling a lifestyle and doing it rather effectively.
