Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen.
I am a new member, located in the beautiful country known as Australia.
The past couple of months there has been a large change in my mindset and I am taking action to get out of a mental rut I've put myself in. I have an intro thread that might give you a better idea of where I stand at present.
This forum is a goldmine of information and I wanted to start a thread for those who have packed up and left everything they know behind. I'm currently in that process, ridding myself of unnecessary material things to lighten the load for when I book a one way ticket out of my comfort zone. To be honest I'm so f#cking scared.
My question is what did you take with you? For me, I will have around $10k AUD, a small backpack, a 50l duffle bag, some everyday carry items and a bicycle to take with me.
