For me, that was marketing.
Marketing isn’t just a skill—it’s a superpower that can take you anywhere.

If you’re aiming for marketing (or any field), don’t just grab any job. Instead:

• Find a Small Team: Look for a company with under 12 employees. Why? Smaller teams are like close-knit families. You’ll see everything—how they get clients, run campaigns, and close deals. You won’t just be a cog in the machine; you’ll see the entire system.
• Start as a Copywriter (or Another Entry Role): It’s not glamorous, but it’s the perfect entry point. You’ll get a steady income and upgrade your skills at the same time.

Win-Win Growth​

As you learn and grow in this role, something incredible happens:

• You start seeing opportunities others miss.
• You climb the ranks.
• You might even become a co-founder in the same company.

And if you decide to leave, no problem. By that point, you’ll have gained:

• Systems: Proven processes you can replicate.
• Skills: A portfolio that speaks for itself.

Starting from $0 is less about grinding endlessly and more about placing yourself where the learning curve meets opportunity.
