Me: "Well, I'd hopefully be doing something where I am helping people."
Coach: "Helping them with what?"
Me: "Confidence, I'd want to encourage people and motivate them in some way."
I knew my response was something special because I said it without hesitation or overthinking. I deal with social anxiety, So hesitation and overthinking is ALL I do lol. But not this time!
Hello, My name is Kaiya and I am excited to be here!!
I just turned 19 years old and as of currently I live with my parent and have no financial responsibility whatsoever. I decided that I wanted to use this to my advantage. I decided that I will no longer sit around playing video games for 8 hours, and mindlessly scroll through Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and youtube on a continuous loop. Instead, I am going to find a way to change my family and my life for the greater good. I am a beginner/newbie in the world of entrepreneurship and business. I don't know what I'll be doing as of yet. But I believe that God has placed this "passion/Drive" in my heart and mind for a reason. I have never in my life thought about financial freedom or entrepreneurship/Business. It honestly just came to me out of nowhere a couple of months ago. That's how I know it is something I'm called to focus on. Once I fathomed the fact that it is possible for me to become wealthy and to give my family a more comfortable life... I have been "obsessed" with finding out ways to do so. Lol.
Before I came across MJ's book "Millionaire Fastlane " I was constantly listening to gurus who would tell me to start a business around what I love, interests etc. So video games, listening to music, celebrity gossip, and movies? I mean maybe it could work...but Yeah, no. Lol. I ALWAYS knew that I wanted to help people some way and somehow, but kinda got uncertain because the gurus kept telling me to think about myself and what I like. Once I read Millionaire Fastlane , showed me that helping people is exactly the thing I need to do.
I really want to get this entrepreneur thing kicked off but I truly don't know where to start. I know that people say it's important to learn a special skill, but How do I know what skill to learn? Do I just pick a high ticket skill? I know copyright, coding, web design ect.. is a good skill to learn. I thought about marketing and ads. But still procrastinating a bit. Should I start with learning a skill or should I work on becoming financially literate first? Because that's one thing I need to work on as well. OR should I...(gosh here she goes again) work on self-development? Like I said above, I do struggle with social anxiety, and my communication skills could be way better.
All I know for certain is that whatever I decide to start a business with, In the future I'd want to help people with their confidence, I want to be able to encourage and motivate them. I know that I have what it takes to accomplish my dreams.
Lol, as you can see I am all over the place right now and truly just need guidance or something, IDK haha. But any advice, comments, ect...are welcomed!! Thank you.
