I met the guy at a networking event and he said he wanted more web design clients.

I talked to him some more and found out that he really only charges $1,000 for a website. He told me that if I bring him a client then I can have anything above the $1,000 mark.

I'm thinking too myself, damn this could be good.

So within two days a get him a qualified candidate with a stated price of $2,000.

They have the client call and then he comes to me stating that he decided to charge him $1,500. Ok the dude didn't feel comfortable selling that high, fair enough, I can at least understand that.

But the worst part.

The dude comes back to me and tells me that he will give me $300 for giving him the lead to the sale.

Hahaha.

I state again that wasn't what was agreed to. And finally he gets back to the initial agreement and agrees to pay the excess of the $1,000 we had agreed upon.

Man, I had wanted to get this guy more sales, but not anymore.

Guys, don't do business like this guy.
