Hello, alright readers, I really need your help. This will be a little challenging to write. The Ego likes to jump in and make you feel the victim. It is my goal presently, to avoid negativity or a self pity, but to get understanding, one must seek it. To summarize my journey, it began in 1996. I knew I was worth more than what I was seeing. I joined the military for a life change. 2005, my Mother died 2007, my father neither having much to show for their TIME. 2013, My Church Pastor, Died and all day people came in and out of his hospital room with heart felt Thank you, on their lips. The man was wealthy, both in a physical sense worth multiple millions and a spiritual sense, having touched the very core and heart of millions.
I failed as a Marine, a college student, a trainer, a business owner my whole life, has been one failure after another. Others won't see it. I have multiple honorable discharges, served my country well. A Bachelor's degree in business from Colorado, awards and Atta boys from even my present employer. I work really hard=) but I know I am still not half the man my pastor was.
When I started the Journey, money was the motive. I chased it and never got close to even achieving a single goal. I wanted respect and recognition, thinking having money would do that for me. It had a reverse effect. I didn't get any of it money, respect, or recognition.
Today, although I have gone from sidewalk to slow lane, I still see a man who lacks talent. It takes a certain trait to know how the market will respond to something. I know I tried to invent my own product, went from table to negotiations and found the hard truth when I thought my idea was the best. Then, got all the reasons told to me why it wasn't.
What I am really, after is to be the person my pastor was, someone who deeply knows people and provides value. It is not about a LEGACY! it is about what I offer now. I see a spark with my present work as a maintenance person. Still, I am building someone else's dream. What if you do not possess the ability to know your value? I have taken several Aptitude tests. Learned my strengths .
Still, I see a person who has no business owning a business. Some of us are just made that way. Where do I go from here?
Anyway, thank you for reading this if I did not lose your interest along the way and you read it all much appreciated. The knowledge I seek is in the bolded questions and if I shared too much, it was not intentional. As Mj says FEEDBACK is a necessity .
Looking forward to the wisdom returned. Thank you so very much. ~Ronnie.
