Alrighty, scepticism is really important in biz, and as a result of my own I learnt to who to hate and what not to hate on.
So for starters, lets talk about the hate that comes with the hardware.
- Big guys never give me a break
- Why all the secrecy
- Why aren't we all talking about this and ignoring the issues
- Isn't biz and the way it influences society to exist and chase money to be hated?
Biz and society:
You don't see this until later but business is actually more subtle than it first appears, while you are thinking there are these big figureheads overshadowing everything, the reality is more like they HAVE to be given some respect because so few people are capable or willing to do anything properly in business. The top is lonelier than you'd think, and it breeds interconnectedness, respect, and not bossing other big players around (which is good because bossing people around really isn't the answer when they are already putting in hard work to do what most can't or won't do).
You see "rich quick" guys and falsely assosciate that with "the rare breed" guys, but its the rare breed guys that are needed, and the rich quicks are generally not targetted by hate cuz you want an easy road yourself.
Why aren't we talking:
About what you want, right now, and with who you want, and around the details you want for as long as you want?
Because mental resource is scarce, their is no cucoon that will waste its time to play to your inner drama, as it is counter productive to perspective and a "mobile" upper tier of thought. People that validate subjects can't stick around to talk ad infinatum because it'll be a time suck, with the only use being to confirm your bias.
Challenge breeds a wider perspective, criticisms and time sucking only serves the part of you, that you must overcome (the nasty fearful side).
Its true you may have great ideas, but it is better to shelter them and think about them as appropriate when YOU get decent, and can spend your time on things.
You can't hate on people for YOU wasting time during your grind.
Why all the secrecy:
You might as well ask why all the repeats?
Its probably due to each person wanting their own custom motivational speeches, for each challenge/fear/day.
Best to just build these speeches yourself, as most knowledge is out there to find for yourself, and we are all just amatuer teachers in the end anyways, so you can't expect god like teaching from biz people (if you do you'll fall for stupid stuff like gurus).
Why don't big guys give me a break?
You mean why don't they pay so you can learn and avoid all the fear? Why don't you have a trust fund? Maybe its cuz your pops wants you to do it on your own, or your relatives aren't wealthy. Big guys will give good people good chances, but they are testing for bitter, snappy weirdo stuff, because no human can give a snappy vile self obsessed person a break. You'll have to give yourself that break or you'll poison things.
Yes you are a good person, but you have to show your integrity through what you do, endlessly, AND you need to have a sense for the right direction, or you are JUST a hassle, and a landmine they should avoid (not to be rich but to be sane).
So who else to hate
- Not customers
- Not hard work
- Not competitors
- Not regulatory bodies
- Not the chances to give
Icecreamkid wrote that astounding post about generosity, and it is true, when faced with being BS, just give, and take the dive of risk, its how you grow. Hate binds you up and is not to be confused as necessary as scepticism.
Hate on
- Naysayers (if you want, but beware it is a web of bs, and you may actually be causing it, unless you have sorted your head out... most in authoritarian positions naysay due to mistrust, don't treat it the same as "snappy" a##hole naysayers who can just stfu)
- Crooks
- Guru's wild claims
- Petty tyrants (guys who just push you around cuz they are moody and stupid)
But try to come out of the fight with your faith in humanity and business intact.
So pick your battles, make sure you give more than you growl.
Try your best.
Nothin is really to hate in the end. You shouldn't lead with it if you don't know wtf is going on. But its human nature that we do, cuz we misunderstand and mistrust.
This inner battle can't just be left to FESTER in you, so expose your BS, and slowly work it down.
