Hello,
I've been visiting this site now frequently fro about a week after looking at the RD forum. After reading there for about 45 minutes to an hour and not finding anything remotely helpful/encouraging/"real life" educated/or quite frankly even anything Fast lane I was determined to find a positive, wisdom rich environment that was all of the above. I won't kid myself or you as I am currently in a slow lane and I know it is all of my own choices, and therefore my responsibility. From here I can only proceed by making the right ones (choices). As the Immortal Rocky once said," It's not about how hard you can hit, but how hard you can get hit, and keep getting hit, it's about never givin' up.."
I came here and saw the principles I guess I've seen and believed in but never really applied in a successful, fast-lane minded way. I was by my own standards a fool. Yet, I can say that determination can be found in choosing to walk a "road less traveled" path. my goals here are to
1. get out of the slow mind track
I remember hearing a very wealthy man once say, "If you want to have what I have, you have to think like I think."
2. Formulate a plan
The legendary threads really help this point here
3. acquire the tools of the trade by broadening my mind
As much as one can still cut steak with a butter knife a battle hardened edge can cut steel
4. have a growth environment
Solomon said, " If we walk with the wise then we will grow wise." and on the other hand Paul said, "bad company corrupts good character."
I believe this to be the prime place to accomplish these goals and more and I look forward to learning/growing here. Thank you.
