Haha, sorry for the dirty trick, but this is the dumbest way I can state what I've learned lately.
Basically you just gotta be super thorough to make and bake you business, and blend it with a bit of homegrown love for the result.

You should have this feeling of spanking perfection into what you do, before you ship.
That comes down to a subset of branding I'm calling momma.
Its everything people overlook because the grind is painful and we just wanna ignore thoroughness.
Instead of going crazy saddistic "I will make money!!! Mwuhahaha!!! You will all see!!!"
Dial back the rebel teen that is afraid, love yo momma, give it some time, get it right, before you spank on the finishing touches!
I'm givin this advice, but, I'm kinda on the back end of learning it myself so unfortunately I can't add more (though I'd like to)
I think the main key is really to understand that chaos and lauching gungho has a place, but that equally, you have to consider your momma, and make conscientous choices, rather than blow yourself out, with an endless string of "nothing moves" (stuff like buying add space or data or a bunch of employees or high quality site before you have any results in mind to compare what responses you are getting against)
Look ahead, expect results, compare, go in guns blazing by all means, but first think of your momma
Haha, you need to think before you go ahead obsessively, and this is just a reminder.
Acceleration - just means you need a plan for hitting the treadmill, don't plan for the ground to be unmoving
Market knowledge - You gotta not only know your competition and customers but be so familiar with their own shoes that it feels natural to help finish their sentences, and do the task ahead of time, get a string of those successes and you'll be gettin ahead
Metrics - The things we measure get better
Optimisation - Always push, push, push, or you'll get boxed, and getting boxed puts you n a neat little package to throw in the trash... not cool
Mission - How do you expect to survive without an idea that will make you leap, sprawl, thrive and build?
Think of momma, before you leap
Then once you have it dialed in,
