Hey, I'm Sarah from Belgium, and I'm on the verge of quitting my job as a private banker to focus full-time on my side business, which I started four years ago. It's an online business with a revenue of around €200,000. We live in Belgium.
Now, I have an idea to launch a new (innovative) product, and I'm considering working with a product designer for this venture. After several discussions, I eventually ended up at an agency that not only handles product design but also assists with market research, development, branding, touchpoint creation, and market activation. This gives me peace of mind knowing that I won't be alone in the process after the design phase. I see it as having a team member with whom I can bounce ideas around in the coming months. However, it comes at a considerable cost (€67,000, of which I can reclaim €25,000 in subsidies).
Now, after reading "FLM," I'm uncertain whether this is a good investment. With more free time on my hands as I leave my full-time job, would you advise handling this project myself?
English is not my native language; Dutch is. So, I hope it's all clear.
