Hello yall! I'm 20 years old. Now aware that slowlane sucks. We all share that in common.
I read TMF six months ago. Wonderful, enlightening book. Since then, I've shared my desire to escape the rat race with a variety of people.
Surprisingly, my friends all agreed. Nobody wants to work a job their whole lives. Planning for retirement before we even graduate university sucks. We're all aware this path doesn't work. These are wonderful people who I hope find a way to escape the Slowlane. Unfortunately though, no one's taken action yet.
And then there's me.
I toyed around with initiatives in the past 6 months. Did Youtube for a bit. Experimented with dropshipping. And I'm finally gearing up towards something with real potential - an Ebook focused around building skills in an area I personally struggled with and now get pointed out for being amazing at. There's a need here I can solve, and if I stay consistent, I'll have results by New Year's.
CENTS? It's a little iffy. I'll figure this out as I go. I'm just glad I'm actually going somewhere.
And this forum is a huge part of that. The few times I visited here, I'm met with inspiring threads, helpful resources, and proof that this isn't all just a fantasy. The stories and mindsets shared here are EXACTLY what I need to read. Your posts keep me and others accountable and on track. Keep it up you beautiful people.
