Has anyone out here done much with ebay? My husband and I have a ministry, with our goals being to help those that are stuck in the middle with no where to turn. We were once in this position as I lost my job due to a rare medical illness, we lost our home, credit score, dignity, self worth etc. anyway, I don't like that spot we were in so I don't talk much about it. We have since bounced back and like to help others, because we had no where to turn. And have found that most of the "big" charities you have to prove yourself beyond reasonable doubt. Well when you lost everything, you do not have much of a credit score. So there is really no help out there for these kind of folks. Anyway, each month the ministry takes on either a homeless family or like this month we are honored to be asked and attend a camp sleepover for kids with cancer. We would like to also leave this organization with a donation from our ministry. I have tried just about every fundraiser there is out there and with todays economy they really don't work. We have beautiful homemade cross pendants that we usually give out to those who donate, but what I am wondering is this. Has anyone ever had any luck with selling on ebay? I am thinking that I may like to sell these cross pendants on ebay and any information or any other ideas would be greatly appreciated!! Anyone else have to fundraise? Share your frustrations and successes because I really need it right now! I am so frustrated with selfish and greedy people that I want to give up. HELP out your sister with ideas guys I need you now!!:blah2:
