Hey -- was told it would probably be a good idea doing an intro post so here it is.

I'm Drake, technically a nickname, but everyone calls me that because of a famous rapper named Drake wrote a song entitled "Successful" that everyone relates to me. I live in a really small town in Alabama which is in the United States. My dreams of being a garbage man failed me when I learned that they do not just work Wednesdays, the day they pick up my trash, but they work Monday through Friday. Yes, I wanted to be a garbage man from the time I was about 5 until I was 13 because I believed they only worked one day a week.

When I found out that they work more then one day a week I reevaluated my young life and I still remember to this day, in perfect detail, typing in "How to make $100 a day" into Google 8 years ago.

This lead me to several years of jumping from one thing to another. I tried article marketing, PPC, Adwords, Forum Marketing, Designing Websites, CPA, Joint Ventures, I've written eBooks, interviewed experts in niches and packaged up and sold them, I've jumped on the kindle bandwagon and wrote kindle books and sold them, I've done link wheels, SEO, PLR, heck you name it I've pretty much done it when it comes to internet marketing.

Unfortunately, I never really enjoyed a lot of what I was doing because I was just "Chasing Money". I genuinely want to help people out and make a living being able to help people. However, one of my old mentors said that "nice guys do not make it in business" and that kind of bummed me out. So, couple of months ago I was really down in the dumps and was looking for a "nice guy" who made it big. I stumbled across the Millionaire Fastlane and read it and felt like someone took every thought I had and put it on paper.

I was excited again that there was at least one person in the world that had similar ideas to me since no one in high school or in college believed it was possible to get out of the rat race. I told them all I was not going to college and I will make it big some day but things have changed and now a JR. in college going into Software Development with a minor in Marketing. I figure that I need to get a decent job to support myself and on the side I could develop Software and Market it if it came down to it.

My primary goal is to make money helping people out in some way. I have an idea I'm working on and think that it might work but there is always that doubt.

The reason for wanting to make it? Primarily, I want to help my parents. I want them to enjoy their lives and do what they want whenever they want. I want to pay off their debts and just enjoy life. I'm not very good at showing emotions so I never really show my parents how much I do care and how much I appreciate them and hope that one day paying off their debts will show them that I do care and I do appreciate what they have done for me.

Financially speaking the goal is $7,500,000. Basically, if what I read in the Millionaire Fastlane is correct I could possibly loan out the money at a 5% interest rate and earn about $375,000 a year just off interest alone which is a little more then $1,000 a day.

I also made a post here: https://www.thefastlaneforum.com/mindset-motivation-choices/42002-do-we-all-go-through.html

Discussing the pressures to make it...

Anyways, I hope I can help some people out on the forums and maybe together we can all one day be successful.
