A professional men's hair cut

Well... I need a haircut. It is getting a bit too long to look professional unless I slick it back and make it look ultra formal.

What do yall get when you go to the barber shop? :smxF:

If I don't cut it myself (shave it bald ) then I get it clippered even on the sides and trimmed on the top.

This is how I feel about 3 days after I get my hair cut. I like it a very exact way, and the moment I notice it start to get even slightly wavy, I hate it. But I force myself to hold out for at least 2 weeks, because I can't really justify spending $15 every 3 days for 8 minutes of work.

If only I could pop my eyes out of my head and use 3rd person view...

Is it bad to admit I haven't been to a barbershop is 25+ years?

Just cut it myself. Pull it back, one cut with the scissors and I am done.

I have a stylist cut my hair, barber shops just F**K it all up and my hair is very simple lol. I usually just have a Redken or Paul Mitchell certified girl cut it.

Paul Mitchell schools are where it's at. If you go to them they are real cheap since the students are still learning, but typically they are better than most licensed barbers or salons. I recommend checking them out.

They have a place here called the boardroom. Professional haircuts seem to be the specialty. Its damn expensive though 40 bucks for a fricking haircut... Jeez.

My old barber in Waco charged 15 bucks.

Im cutting it myself machine cut, shortest possible (like 0,Xmm lenght, nearly bald). sometimes I wet-shave it bald. right now Im growing a full beard and Im feeling like a real tough guy with the nearly bald hair and full beard

I have not been to a barber in 15 years. I use my own clippers and just give myself a buzz. It's a clean, refreshing and classic look.

I cut my own as well. Been doing the same chop for 15 years. My old barber charged 5 bucks, then he passed. I couldn't see paying someone 15 dollars to cut it, so I started practicing myself. After much trial and error I have it worked out to where it doesn't look like a home job.

Yeah, and spamming has great importance in getting yourself banned from this forum. Gee, one of the few things I will never understand is a mindset of a spammer.

I'm yet another folk here styling hair myself. I think it's great and teaches you the anatomy of a beauty that comes from a face-head-hair style combination. It's also great to experiment with styles. Few months of trial and error and you got your favorite hairstyle and you feel like no one will do it better for you (it works the same as cooking by yourself - although there are many professional, great cooks, you still prefer your own thing).

At least you cut it, I haven't cut mine in 3 years now. My hair is curly and down to my waist when it's wet.
