I timeshare with our 12 yo. He's back to back with his 10 yo brother for some serious gaming. Their friends who come round are super jealous.

I never use the ringlight. That was a waste of money. I'll give it to a niece or nephew.

Mexico City for the week.

Got this apartment with a couple Fastlaners because we happened to be going to the same event.

@GoodluckChuck and I absolutely crushed the workday, punctuated by exploring the city, enjoying the weather, and trying new food.

The synergy of great minds working together + being in a cool new place is just unreal.

I was looking through the list and this desk looked so crazy I thought it was ai generated.

I clicked the image to make it bigger and it came up with an article about who owns it.

Apparently he needs no introduction but I'm not in that space so I had no idea who he was.

David Heinemeier Hansson, or DHH, doesn't need a formal introduction. But we're going to do one anyway.

He is the creator of Ruby on Rails, the open-source framework that has been used by hundreds of thousands of developers.

He is the cofounder of both Basecamp and HEY.

He is a best-selling author and has written four books with cofounder Jason Fried (REWORK, It Doesn't Have To Be Crazy At Work, REMOTE: Office Not Required, and Getting Real.

And if that wasn't enough, he's also a race car driver in the FIA World Endurance Championship.

I'm really happy with my adjustable standing desk.
10k steps a day & standing 70% of the time while working really helps me to stay fit and energised.

The book I am reading (TGGRE) always close for when I have downtime to (re)read a few pages.

Enjoyed the sharing in this thread.
Gives a nice peak into Fastlane companions their lives

I renovated the room myself and also made the desk from some pallet wood + top from wood flooring panels, because I like to upcycle.

Whenever I have the chance, I go to the public library near Amsterdam Central to read/ write. Great view, peaceful and the perfect place to meetup with people.

I’ve become a bit disillusioned with my desk, and my computer. Not sure why it’s slow AF and I’ve already reset the whole thing, and emptied it. Still doesn’t work well. I want a new one but I got an iPad Pro a while ago, I don’t regret it but I still want a computer that works fast, and I want to get rid of mine. Right now I think the only time I sit down there is to make journal entries but to work I just sit on the kitchen table because it’s next to a window.
