Did you even read the books? I was doing affiliate marketing for YEARS and I wish I was reading MJ's books earlier. A complete waste of time, money, and effort. I believe IT IS POSSIBLE to make good money w/ affiliate marketing but it's tough with tons of competition.i had started doing affilate marketing from 15 days i havent seen any result ..i need help how it will work
Absolutely right affiliate marketing is a low return business. But there are some people who made it big with it and i think you need to have a skillset of sales or a lot of money if you want to succeed with affiliate marketing. But, if you can do a lot of work and have patience for a few months, then you can succeed with it. So if you're looking to be successful with affiliate marketing in 15 days, you shouldn't be doing it. And I think, very few business succeed in first 15 days.i had started doing affilate marketing from 15 days i havent seen any result ..i need help how it will work
While this is true generally, I do know guys who make $200-300K/mo with affiliate marketing… but that income can be there one month and gone the next, it’s not a business in terms of sustainability. But you can make a nice income if you choose your products wisely and remain flexible/adaptable. Also, affiliate CAN scale very fast. In a few months you can go from 0 to $300K…Shocker.
Too bad someone hasn't written any books on why affiliate marketing is a low-return, low-entry, high effort "business" where the 1% of the successes in the field go on to sell courses and training.
Given those rates, I doubt you’ll get many affiliates. My eyes don’t go like below when I see your opportunity:We're looking into setting up an affiliate program for our books. I don't know yet if this is dumb idea as the books are low ticket items, but could represent a nice bit of pin money for microinfluencers. (to put it into context we could pay about $6 per sale).
What we like about it from a marketing perspective is that it's performance based and giving our marketing spend to the people actually doing the work rather than some big corps like FB. Also, there's the possibility of finding a handful of super fan brand ambassadors who really go for pushing our products. What we don't like is that it's potentially doing a lot of work on our end looking after the affiliates or shelling out to an intermediate.
There appears to be a growing shift into forming partnerships with affiliates as the big ad platforms are pricing out small startups and organic growth is now pretty much a dead end.
I'm very interested to hear any thoughts or experiences on this.
btw 'shelling out', is a rather out dated British term meaning spending money! I suddenly feel my age!
Thanks Black Dragon, useful info and you are right about our books being hardly worth it to an affiliate. Am also thinking that it may be worth it just to help with exposure. I discovered that our competitor selling the same value product runs a program. I think perhaps microinfluencers may be interested? The only way to find out is to suck it and see!Given those rates, I doubt you’ll get many affiliates. My eyes don’t go like below when I see your opportunity:

The truly good affiliates sell digital products that go for thousands of dollars, where the potential payment in the funnel for one customer goes up to $4-5K+ TO THE AFFILIATE if the customer buys everything in there.
As an affiliate I have to decide between selling your books, or some other product that pays much bigger commissions. You’re competing against literarily all other opportunities out there.
Also, going for affiliates with a fixed audience, rather than those who can sell by ppc is usually an inferior strategy in terms of how quickly it scales!
But I feel the competition depends on the kinds of product you're promoting.Did you even read the books? I was doing affiliate marketing for YEARS and I wish I was reading MJ's books earlier.
