Hello from Lisbon, Portugal

Hi there,

I'm Claudine.... an American, British, Canadian and Jamaican citizen, now living in Lisbon, Portugal. Whew!

I moved here 6 years ago from New York City. I LOVED living in New York but couldn't see myself growing old there and so I figured out a way to move to Portugal.

Life here has been amazing!!! I found a way to work for myself and earn USD. I'm able to just cover my rent and bills. But I'm still trading my time for money, which is unpredictable.

I've truly traded a 9-5 for 24/7 abeit I'm in a beautiful cage/country.

I long to be fully financially free. I'm sure I will get there... but in the midst of the stress and struggle I often need to remind myself to enjoy the journey!

Hi thanks for the warm welcome!

The move for me was super easy. I have UK citizenship and came to the EU before Brexit so I got "grandfathered" in here. I just lucked out on the timing...
