So I've been attempting to bootstrap building my product for some time now, but working a standard job and being a time prostitute is probably not the fastest option.

I've come up with an idea that may be more efficient at generating capital while actively providing value to others.

I'm unsure what to call this but for now, I'm going to call it the "All-In-One Service Subscription".

I have a variety of skills I have accumulated over my teenage years from doing odd jobs such as painting houses, changing parts out on cars, detailing, and all manner of yard/landscaping work. What if there was a service that could do all of that for you for one low-cost subscription?

It would include these services:
  1. Auto Services:
    • Oil changes
    • Brake changes
    • Tire changes
    • Fluid replacements (coolant, transmission fluid, etc.)
    • Full interior and exterior detailing
  2. Home Services:
    • Painting (interior/exterior)
    • Gutter cleaning
    • Light fixture installations
    • Air filter replacements
  3. Yard Services:
    • Snow removal
    • Leaf raking and disposal
    • Lawn mowing and maintenance
    • Hedge trimming
  4. Tech Services:
    • Computer optimization and cleanup
    • Software updates
    • Wi-Fi network troubleshooting
    • Smart device setup and configuration
    • Data backup and recovery
  5. Cleaning Services:
    • House cleaning (regular maintenance)
    • Carpet cleaning
    • Window cleaning
    • Deep cleaning (seasonal or as needed)
  6. Security Services:
    • Home security system maintenance
    • Camera setup and configuration
    • Doorbell camera battery replacements
    • Security system troubleshooting
    • Lock changes and upgrades
  7. Landscaping Services:
    • Garden design and planting
    • Mulching and weeding
    • Tree and shrub pruning

It would be tiered something like this:
  1. Basic Care (Standard Subscription):
    • Monthly Cost: $30 - $50 (1 use/month)
  2. Enhanced Care (Mid-level Subscription):
    • Monthly Cost: $50 - $80 (2 uses/month)
  3. Premium Care (High-tier Subscription):
    • Monthly Cost: $80 - $120 (3 uses/month)
  4. Custom Care (Add-on Services):
    • Pricing can vary widely based on the specific services being added.
Customers get a certain amount of times they can make an appointment based on their plan, as well as the complexity of the project. I'm unsure this would be the ideal way to set things up or offer services until the market engaged with this of course.

Would appreciate any feedback on this.

I would imagine this would turn into a logistical nightmare to juggle all of these services.
@Johnny boy is offering just one service and is making a killing. You should read his thread (GOLD! - HOT! - Starting (and Fastlaning) a lawn care service business)

Maybe just picking one and sticking to it would be wiser then.
I feel you, Jack of all trades, master of none. Makes for a versatile but tough life as you have so many roads to go down, but to many choices... My advice, pick one. I wrote a newsletter on it, HERE

A guy I know has taken the handyman concept and tried to turn it into a brand. He offers home repairs and remodeling (kitchen, shower, etc). I believe he also does things like installing sprinkler systems and water softeners.

I also have a neighbor who does appliance repair only. He has gone from a one-man show to being "the guy" who does appliance repair for an area of about 400,000 people. All from providing fast, friendly, affordable, and well-done service. Something to consider if you have the skillset.

One other thing to consider. A lot of newer two-story homes run the laundry vent through the attic. This is incredibly dangerous, as lint is kindling. The angles and length required to vent through the attic cause it to build up and is a major source of fires. Spread awareness about the risk of these fires and offer your services to clean the vents quarterly. You can buy tools made for the job, including a long vent brush and compressors to blow the lint out. Invest in an air flow meter to show the difference afterward.
