Ill get straight to the point:

Instead of a normal to do list which often gets too packed -> DO THIS

Step 1 - ABC DE Strategy

Segment your tasks into these sections
[A] Things you must do. TOP PRIORITY. These are critical tasks that have significant consequences if not completed.

Things you should do. SECOND PRIORITY. Important but less critical than A tasks, with mild consequences if delayed.

[C] Things that would be nice to do… if A and B tasks are completed. These have no consequences if not done.

Then -> [
D]elegate & [E]liminate $10p/h Tasks if your doing a task , more than two times in a row , and its not SIGNIFICANT, hire someone to do it ASAP.

Step 2 - Optimise ABC DE Strategy

when using this method , i often found my "C" Tasks , such as providing value on this forum , being ignored , and left for days.

The 3-2-1 Rule

  • Spend your first 3 hours straight away on your “[A]” Tasks. Ideally straight after waking up … Yk brush your teeth , take a dump , wipe your butt → Straight to work.
  • 2 Hours on your (B) Tasks
  • 1 hour on your (C) Task
Thats pretty much as simple as it gets. No complicated calendar scheduling. No cold showers. No morning journals…
Just Settle in
  • Put on a timer for 3 hours
  • Turn on airplane mode , dont talk to any humans, and get to deep work

I got the ABCDE Method from Brian Tracy HERE
And the 3-2-1 Rule from a New channel i am loving HERE

Combining both of these will give you a competitive edge , no pun intended... no one else is doing this.

Could you just don’t do C and focus and A and B everyday?

And its just six hours. What about the rest?

If your C tasks are keeping great relationships with good people, then no.
It can cause damage to them.

However, without a specified time limit and fair choice of who you should spend time with (talking to those you need to talk, not just those you want to talk to) the C tasks will become a disruption to achieving dreams.

At least that's how I see it. =)

Well those useless tasks are supoosed to be [E] - Eliminated ,

you can NOT do them , there is no consequences for not doing C.

The rest of the hours goes to human stuff like -> shower , eat , train , naps...

But usually , i spend way more than 3 hours on A tasks , like today ive spent 7 hours on it , there is no strict rule... but after 7 hours, im starting to get tired, and thats when i plan to come onto this forum and provide value

Thanks for the post! Interesting read.
The strategy is understandable, let's talk practical. How often would such list be made? I assume it's flexible and fluid.

A - you must do it - 3 hours
B - you should do it - 2 hours
C - nice to do - 1 hour

For example - I don't believe I have any A level tasks as of this moment. Where would that 3 hours be spent? Finding A level tasks or taking care of lower level tasks?

Do the B and C tasks then. Then use the extra time to live your life, or use it to strategize the next day. You don't have to FIND A level tasks in my opinion

You would go onto the lower level yes.

for me personally , most days my A-Level tasks are 6 hours+ , its really up to you , and how you work best

A level tasks dont need to be found , because if you dont do them -> theres severe consequences

for example my A LEVEL to do looks like this right now(you may not understand some lists , but for me this is what i MUST do for my team):

How's it better than 80/20 rule?

This productivity method is optimised for"deep work" only
  1. Deep Work: This term, popularized by Cal Newport, refers to time spent in highly focused, undistracted work that requires full cognitive capacity. This type of work often involves complex tasks that significantly contribute to your professional goals.
  2. Shallow Work: This term is often used to describe tasks that do not require intense cognitive effort and can be performed while distracted. These include routine, logistical tasks like answering emails, administrative duties, or household chores.
Beyond these two, some frameworks and theories suggest additional categories, reflecting different ways we spend our time:
  • Downtime: Time spent relaxing or engaging in leisure activities that are not necessarily productive but are crucial for mental health and overall well-being.
  • Social Time: Time dedicated to interacting with others, which is important for building relationships and emotional well-being.

How do you quantify and justify downtime and social time?

How much is too much?

I don’t have an answer and is interested in others’ opinions on this.

Some people socialise for a purpose. So it can be seen as work too.

Getting done, the top 20% actions that contribute to the 80% growth of your business, within first half of the day?

Never tried?
well thats like saying go sleep early if you wanna wake up at 4am

its just vague , instead you should say something more like... no phones in bed , play a 20 minute nsdr , do deep slow uncomfortable breaths, to relax... drink chamomile tea , set your circadian rythm in the mornings , understand right before you fall asleep your ego will try make you itch , want to change arm position , or even roll over, but this must be ignored as your body is testing to see if your paralyzed enough to sleep...

like its actionable steps , based on the 80/20 rule

Getting your most important tasks before lunch is a very powerful habit.

I fairly understand that you are itching to waste time by following some ABCDEFGH ambiguous theory where one can spend an hour only to design the day According to the unwanted rules.

If you need to design rules to decide which tasks are high priority for your business, then you need clarity, not rules. Most of the tasks lie in the grey area.

The goal must be getting tasks done and I was only curious how its better than 80/20 rule for day management. I have my answer.
