I want to switch up my slowlane job, but have been getting a little bit of mixed opinions and feedback.
Currently I work as a Painter:
Pros
Decent pay
Cheap cost of living
Cons
Physically demanding
Live in a very rural area
Poor internet service
I have been wanting to get back into something marketing/sales related, move to a city and have taken a little interest in real estate. However, when I talked about it with one career consultant she advised against getting into real estate (I'm assuming due to what she had heard about the market). I talked with a second one and she seemed somewhat receptive to the idea. But, now she referred me to another "career expert." I meet them tomorrow.
Anyways, I'm turning here for some opinions from both people that are involved in real estate, as well as anyone that has made a move to a new area to try start a different career path.
Cheers!
