Hi, I'm from Poland and recently I've been thinking a lot about sales markets.
Let's assume that in my country people pay me 100 PLN per month for a subscription, but in other countries (USA, France, Germany, etc.), where the currency is USD or EUR, I could charge 100 USD/EUR per month (which is 4-5 times more).
I understand that some SaaS products (or other applications) might be easier to sell in my local market in my native language. Additionally, there are certain niches in Poland that probably don't exist in other countries.
But generally, if I have an idea for a product (SaaS) that I could offer to people worldwide, wouldn't it be better to just buy a .com domain and create the application in English? I would be swimming in an ocean and could earn in USD! Why don't people do this more often?
I don't understand the difference between the international market and the US market. Why do people gradually migrate from the market of one country to another instead of just launching on Product Hunt or Indie Hackers? How is selling to the US market different from, say, the UK market? After all, with an English-language website, anyone can enter and buy the product.
What's the difference?
And about the law: Should I prepare terms & conditions and a privacy policy based on the law of my country, US law, or what? What if I have clients from 20 countries? I don't understand this.
