"Money is the root of all evil."
vs
"Money is proof you helped your fellow man." (MJ DeMarco)
We earn money, we don't make it.
Money is all around us, constantly moving. Hence currency and cash flow.
An interest rate increase from 4% to 5% is NOT a 1% increase. It's a 1% point increase, and actually 25% increase. Give an example of a mortgage amount going up 25%.
Borrowing to buy a depreciating asset (such as a car), vs getting paid to build an income producing asset (e.g. getting paid as a freelancer to build a business that works without you exchanging time for dollars).
FIRE vs Fastlane.
I'll drink my lattes thank you, and earn more instead.
How you earn your money is more important than how much you earn.
Loads more, but have to take a kid to the dentist...
