Airbnb is a garbage company. I’ve tried to book trips using them and always have some sort of issue or cancellations. Numerous Reddit posts can attest to that. On the contrary, VRBO was pretty fun and easy to use.

Why don’t you like quick books? And I also agree that PayPal is shit. I’m permanently banned from making accounts with them. They tried to withhold about 30grand from me one time, and also had a lot of shady customers on eBay file fraudulent disputes that PayPal would bill me for. They’re...

Should i move out or not

    QUESTION
Get a job first. Your source of income will decide where you move to, not the other way around.

Haha trust me I’m on your side ! Having music in your life will definitely improve it 100%. I’m still trying to make it profitable but I’m always stuck tinkering with new things.

Marketing for artists is probably a good business seeing as most don’t do it well. Guitars are like bikes, you’d either have to create a new brand of bikes yourself or start a shop purchasing hundreds of guitars to resell.

To name some industries off the top of my head related to music: - audio production (recording, mixing, mastering, engineering songs) - stage audio and light setup (will require you own and rent out equipment and manpower) - DJ’ing - having a band - photography/videography for events -...

Music is such a niche market, I feel like either you’re selling a service, or you yourself are the product. Most people listen to music on a daily basis, but it doesn’t get much deeper than that. They’re not thinking about music on a deeper level, such as in the context of business. To them...

There’s definitely a fine line between cringe DJ and artist, I’m trying to be on the latter. I’ve had enough gigs in Austin to know who I DON’T want to be, if that makes sense. It all comes down to the music you create and the right environment/vibe you’re trying to give off.

Definitely going to try this thanks for the advice I’ve mostly been relying on word of mouth but using google or Facebook ads to target people in austin or surrounds cities should be a fun experiment. Thank you!
