I'm the black sheep of this forum, and I've got my own twisted take on financial freedom:

To me, it's not about stacking cash until I hit some mythical number; it's about being useful. Retirement? That's for the uninspired. I've got my life as I want it now - family time, health, hobbies, the works.

Forget the "magic number", I think it’s bullshit. Money's just a tool. More cash? Cool, bigger projects.

And "passive income"? That's a myth unless you're sitting on "F*ck you" money where you don't give a rat's a$$ about returns. It's all active management.

Live your life like you want it now, not on some future vacation. Grab opportunities by the balls when they're there, and when they're not, pivot like hell, gear up for better times.

Life's not about the cash goal; it's about carving out your existence. Where the money comes from - business, gigs, investments, whatever - doesn't matter as long as it's there to fuel your chosen path.

hmm. how does it differs from what MJ says ? you have the money to choose life your way! who speaks retirement its about empowerment! Black sheep? more like the golden goat everyone looks up to !
