I recently stumbled upon TMF by chance a few weeks ago and while I at first wrote it off as a "get rich quick" book(which I guess it technically is!) and was instantly drawn in. The fact that someone could go from having almost nothing to being a millionaire and NOT being just some lucky guy who struck it big in the lottery blew my mind. I realized I was in a good position in my life where I had no debts and had an ample amount of free time outside of school to start building something that could change my future.
In all honesty, this book has made me realize my fears. My deep-rooted fears of wasting away my life behind a desk serving someone while some people spend their lives traveling the world and living in luxury. It didn't seem fair. After reading TMF I had an epiphany, if the top 1% owned more money than all the 99% of the rest of us, then if I could show those people I had an idea worth buying that was making money and could make even more money for them, they would give me a shred of their wealth. And that shred would unlock the door to financial security.
Now that I've finished TMF, I've begun reading other business-related books at the suggestion of other forum members. It's not just the knowledge gained from them that's priceless, it's how they slowly begin to change your mind in a way that will help you strive for success in a way you wouldn't have before, because you know it's possible.
My first roadblock is where you all probably had your first one as well, finding that golden idea. I've been thinking of an idea that could be used to start an online business, but I've been drawing blank. Would anyone know of any books that can help put you in the mindset to find that killer idea? It's been driving me crazy.
