Hey everyone! I'm 22 years old and ran a successful business at 19.
My entrepreneurship journey started very young, as I was just drawn to the idea of creating things. While battling long hours in high school and a part-time job, I started to resell expensive brands and quickly realized the true leverage of entrepreneurship. I made my first solo internet dollars at 17 with an Instagram theme page, and the rest transformed from there.
Fast forward to my 20s; I have left the business behind, and my entrepreneurial journey has come to a complete halt for the past 2-3 years. Although battling time with university and a seed-level startup I want to start creating value myself, instead of creating value for others.
My current skills are in marketing: Design, Marketing Automation, Social Media and Strategy etc etc. My last business was a bit "luck" as I was at the right place, at the right time, with the right skill set. Now I can't seem to make a decision - What should I be building? Should I focus all my energy on marketing? Do I up my technical skills and become proficient enough to leverage marketing to cut an angle on the technical guys? Do I build a brand?
I guess what I'm asking is should I continue with marketing or put my head down for a year and become technical and combine the two? Or is that a waste of time?
I'm at the point where I feel like there are so many avenues to make money but I don't lean a specific way. I'm not particularly "interested" in anything so my head is all over the place lol. I'm sorry if this is a bit of a dump but I thought I'd throw this out and see if anybody had any insight.
