This journal will be updated irregularly with major breakthroughs as well as small wins.
ABOUT:
28, on second business, first one is passive income but I only own 5.8% + monthly contract to keep it going -- took over failing VC backed startup with that deal, turned it around in 14 months, still riding it today.
Started 2nd business 20 months ago. We're earning $5.5-$6k/month. Just two of us, 50/50, life-long business partner, total trust, marriage mode
I'm looking to get that to $12k/month conservatively and $15k/month optimistically this year.
This journal will document that process.
It's a SaaS + manual service business with a lot of customer service.
I currently live in an amazing apartment in Colombia with friends, sublet my apartment in the states, and am saving a huge % of my monthly income.
I plan on working less than 10 hours a week by the time I'm 35, with a million dollars easy in my bank.
I focus on frugal living because I don't find a lot of value in "shit". I've developed fun skills to make my lifestyle pretty great.
I'd like to be a philosopher. Some of us want a lambo. I want to write influential books.
This is my story.

Major moves in Jan 2016:
We've begun outsourcing a huge time-suck task 3 weeks ago, which is going great, cutting our working hours from 5-6/day to 4-5/day, creating a ton more time for me to focus on growth, sales, marketing.
My newest focus has been on AdWords optimization and landing page CRO changes.
We are now scaling our ad-spend to grow rapidly.
We'll be outsourcing another major task within 3 months.
I plan to continue to work less than 25 hours a week.
