I am launching a very basic low cost bookkeeping service. My clients will just submit their source documents each month and we send back reports for filing. We will also have al la carte services like business plan writing, loan packaging, entity formation and of course tax returns.
I am able to offer these services at a dramatically reduced cost and the business is definitely scalable and will be pretty much automated as I have all ready secured the services of a reliable company to do the actual bookkeeping.
Our clients will either fax or scan and upload their source documents and 24 hours later be able to download their reports from the same server. We will also have the ability to do a clients books remotely via gotomypc.com or similar service.
My question is this:
As fellow entrepreneurs what would you be willing to pay for such a service? What expectations would you have?
Most importantly, would you see value in such a service?
Bobo mentioned that he is an "adminophobe." Other than "beancounters" most people hate doing books and lack the specialized knowledge to do them correctly.
