Hi guys, I'd like to get some help with this situation.

How have you tried to help them with what you've learned in the pursuit of fastlane?

Now, I understand hustling to take care of yourself and those that depend on you is necessary in your pursuit. But what about the parents that have their own lives but can barely afford to live in the slowlane? How did you tell them that this lifestyle cannot end well? Especially if they are first generation immigrants that are paranoid about everything that is American and don't stay up to date with news and trends.

Living in California is expensive enough, but for someone that can't speak the language well it is even tougher when they are living in the upscale North Cal area. My dad is working minimum wage with lots of physical labor, which is not long term since he is getting older and starting to have joint problems. My mom stays at home and doesn't do much. They are ok for now, but there is no telling what can happen in the future.

Right now I have no complaint, living at home but pay for my own stuff, working at a slowlane job building some capital while trying to land some copywriting gig on the side, and planning to move out by June. But chipping in for household stuff is not a long term solution, and to them I have no authority in giving them advice. They accept the fact that they are barely able to get by, with bills to pay off every months, and they don't intend to move.

Those of you that had similar experience and succeeded, can you give me some advice on how to help them? I'd really appreciate it
