Aloha, chronic chaser of shiny things looking to settle down

First off thank you MJ for setting up such a great on boarding experience to the forum and actually making me want to contribute and post.

I'm joining from Canada, but have lived abroad in the US and Central America. I read the Millionaire Fastlane several years ago and I checked out the forum before but just now am joining. By trade I'm a CPA and do enjoy the work but realized before I even left college or read Millionaire Fastlane that you don't become rich working for someone else.

As the title mentioned, over the last several years I've enjoyed working on several side projects mostly revolved around flipping items on eBay. Not a scalable business as I was in the collectible category. Might go back and do some e-commerce around the niche with a youtube/tik tok channel. Currently, focusing on how can I exploit my accounting background to create a scalable digital product, plan is to go SaaS route in a year. This is all as a side hustle so it's a slow go. My wife is entrepreneurial and is building an e-commerce brand and product in the women's hand lotion category. Again it's a go as we have a large family, but the side hustle work is what gives us life.

Reading MJ's two other books are on the reading list now and looking forward to being part of a community working towards the same goals. The analogy I like from the TMF is that of the two pyramid builders, my progress maybe slow but once the system is built the gain is exponential...so long as I can stay focused on the same project for enough time. I'll leave you with the best quote I heard from this past month and that is: "The question I ask myself is am I working on activities that will increase my chances of earning an outsized return."
