Hello all,
I know I've already posted my intro few months ago, but I'd like to start fresh...
I am honestly not sure how to move forward with my life at this point, so I will ask this typical 'What should I do?' question and hope to get some meaningful answers.
I am 21, working as a software engineer full time, currently having 3 'side hustles'.
I earn 'Americas average mid class money' at my job and recently started earning pretty much the same on the side (last ~2 months)
I still live with my parents (no bills to pay), lease high-end car (I know it's not the best decision, but oh well I am really obsessed with cars), don't really spend a lot of money besides my car payment ($200/month on gas, $120/month on parking[I work downtown]), and few more hundreds on 'going out')
I've got ~65K saved (just sitting in my bank, doing nothing).
Question: what's my next move?
Should I switch jobs?(my current employer doesn't want to promote, so the only way to get better salary is by changing employer). Note: I've already gotten some proposals bumping my salary ~$10/year. Other benefit for finding another job that it is going to be closer(gas money decrease/car miles decrease/parking fee elimination). Another move would be finding a remote job(no commute/more time/more sleep/car miles+gas money decrease).
Should I start investing in real estate? I've been following GC lately, and it seems like he recommends doing big apartments deals. However, I do not have enough cash to get those kind of deals. Buying cheap single/multifamily houses seems like a lot of work for not a lot of compensation.
Should I try flipping properties? This sounds pretty good to me because I can start with cheap houses and I don't risk ALL of my money. Pretty straight forward.
Should I start a REAL business? Don't get me wrong, I just sell stuff on eBay and send traffic from Instagram to my own website selling services, but I feel like that this creates little to NO value for people. I have quite a few ideas regarding my own business, but never actually executed. I feel like I know a lot of stuff and it will be easy for me to start my own real company providing value to my customers, but I am being too unsure of what business should I actually start.
Do you guys have any suggestions? I could easily start SaaS product although I've no idea what service people need... I could easily start my eCommerce website although I've no idea what product people need... This goes on and on and on.
Thank you guys in advance, and sorry for this stupid question, but I honestly have no idea where to go/what to do.
