Hello everyone,
I’m developing an online game inspired by Tibia, using Spring Webflux for the backend and React + Phaser for the frontend. Here’s what I’ve accomplished so far:
Implemented Features:
I’ve been working on this project solo for 3 months in my free time, motivated by burnout from business app development. Creating an MMORPG has been a dream of mine since playing Tibia as a kid.
Check out the current state of the game here: MMORPG Web Client (desktop only)
I didn’t expect this project to gain much traction, but now I’m thinking about potential monetization strategies. If people aren't interested in playing the game, perhaps they’d be interested in an online course on MMORPG development. I started documenting my progress on a blog: Creating an MMORPG

- Focusing on programming and occasionally posting updates on the blog or YouTube
