I am Mary, listened to the Millionaire fastlane because it popped up in my audible. I am based in UK. Working as a doctor. 2023/24 sort of threw me a curveball which was great because it made me question how come as a doctor and the more money I seem to be making, the more debt I seem to be creating for myself. I realised with taking time off to have treatment for cancer, I could not earn because i wasn’t there. I started reading incidentally- some of the books that DeMarco disses- rich dad, poor dad, think and grow rich etc but I believe they all are giving me little bits of the puzzle. There is a common thread though, time is the true value. Fastlane is giving me the believe that I can build something, the idea if being a problem solver and building rather than being a consumer is incredible.
I am learning strategies to build an audience- I need to listen to the book again but there was something about audience.. it’s great though, it took me 6 years in medical school to become a doctor. I don’t have that much time again, but I am not just studying.. as I have a lot of catching up to do, I learn, I put into practice and make corrections as I go along. I have wasted too much time…
