Is there a guideline on the amount you should make per sale per month when looking to start a business? I'm referring to non-internet businesses btw.
I know its all relative, but if your plan is to franchise/expand I would think you would need to keep in mind the jump in cost per month in expensive locations like ny or miami or california.
Is this something to keep in mind before you even open your first place? Sure I might make money in a city of 30k, but how would that same business do in other bigger cities with large jumps in overall costs to operate? I suppose you could rationale that in bigger cities = more people = more sales, but is that formula really something to depend on...
