Buying our First Home!!!

Hey guys,
I know this has nothing to do with fastlane-ness, but I am so excited/nervous/stressed I thought it might be cathartic to write about it.

My wife and I are buying our first house! We just got pre-approved for our mortgage and are looking to make offers on 2-3 houses tomorrow. We are trying to get closed before the end of November to take advantage of the first time home buyers credit.

The reason I am nervous/stressed is that I am leaving my current salaried stable position at the end of November (so we need to get closed before then to ensure our financing doesn't fall through) and beginning a sales job in financial services. The new position is 100% commission, so that is another reason I am kinda nervous.

Like I said, this doesn't really have a lot to do with the forum, but thought I would post anyway. I will definitely put up pics of the house when we close.
