In recent weeks I've gotten to know some very successful entrepreneurs, and one of the things that really stuck out in my mind is the importance of commitment.
It's easy to use one method of generating income and then when things look/feel difficult, you end up wavering to another method. And then another and another, like an endless loop. Ultimately, very little gets done. That was certainly something I had done.
The thing about all this is that these entrepreneurs all agreed that it is critical that you stay focused on one task and stick to it regardless of how you feel.
In other words, the key is to not let emotions get in your way. It's a lot like a relationship: There are times when men simply don't feel like getting up and buying her woman a gift, even though an important day is approaching.
By not getting the gift there are consequences, and by making a real effort IN SPITE OF the laziness things turn out better. What I'm suggesting is that if your emotions are getting in your way, ask yourself, "How is this a test of my commitment to my success?"
If you feel you can't commit, then perhaps your goal is not worth your time. Either change it or do something else and commit to that instead.
