Hello fellow Fastlane entrepreneurs,

before I begin the post, I wanted to provide some context:

I am a software engineer, but I don't have any ideas about what I could build that people would want. I am picky (but not super-picky) with the ideas I want to build, because it takes time to build them and I don't want to spend too much time building something I don't believe in.

This leads me to my question: Does anyone here have any software business ideas? Whatever it is, feel free to write it out (the more you can elaborate on it the better).

I do have some needs from my personal experience. But due to limited knowledge in computing and software, I am not sure if it is worth building it because a simple solution could exists already without the need of a software.

1) downloading numbers appear on screen and extract them into excel files. I wanted to do data analysis of supposed numbers generated by random numbers generator. But the first step is to compile the numbers generated. One useful application is for online players who play online casinos.

2) Automate cryptocurrency transactions on chain, for instance doing transaction A and repeat once automatically once every seven days. This is to qualify the airdrop reward requirement in the industry.

Hmm.. DJI app support for old drones is terrible. Turns out there's third party app called Litchi. Do something better than Litchi.

I'm a heavy user of Open Broadcaster Software. There's a genius developer by the name of Exeldro, whose plugins are truly useful like the oxygen we breathe. He also gave it for free (or I should say open sourced it). Please beat that guy.

This thing needs software. I know it'll be very hard to make a standalone hardware operates with help of software. But, hey.. that could be the cheapest PTZ-like camera/controller.

It doesn't work like that man. Just start building something, from that something you will be able to get to something that you believe will succeed.

In other words, to find the idea, you gotta find many or a couple failing ideas in a particular industry.
