So Im busy doing school and getting my final real estate license. Soon I can do real work.
Well my little side business at the moment is sourcing US items for Chinese and shipping the items to them. Theres brands here they want because of the quality. My girlfriend there finds the clients through her social circle and a mobile app. So at this moment she gets the money from them, I go to the store and get the items, ship the items to a warehouse in US, then they ship it to China. Going to rent a UPS box to receive their sh*t through the mail too.
Started this recently, certainly not a bad little business. The markup is not as bad as you'd think. But it needs to be scaled and like I said Im not on the marketing side of it since Im not Chinese. She will be coming here in February. Frankly I want to turn this business over to her when she comes so she has something to do along with ecommerce/job/whatever.
Does anyone have any idea about marketing to chinese? Same principles? Its unknown to me
Ideas to scale this?
Any better means to ship things there? If I lose 1 $500 box of stuff at this point it would be a kick in the stomach.
