I've used some of those, but they aren't necessary. Do you need some of the blocked targeting? most likely you don't. Sounds like what you are missing out on is the third party data that FB buys (and then passes the costs onto you), I try and NOT use those anyways as it increased my CPM more than it increases my conversions usually.
