I can close the game at anytime; I doubt I will wait until 100. Besides, the tub is getting so heavy I cannot lift it.

haha, yeah I think my method was pretty much useless.. never thought it'd take this long!

sorry I haven't been posting much recently, i've got a few things going on, but I'll try to give an update sometime around mid august maybe, the start of the school year.

PhxMJ, I did not relize you were still adding funds to the pot, (this throws off my original calculations).

I would like to add an infaltion value of $5 a week to my original guess of $500, untill the contest is closed.

Original guess was placed on: June 8, 2009

That was 6 weeks ago so as of today my total would be $530

Most local banks here have the same coinstar concept anyway, and its free. Additionally if you have an account with them.. you can just forward the money right into your account. Coinstars are still running though for those folks that dont have bank accounts for various reasons and need the cash

I remember when I first started seeing coinstar machines at the grocery store. I asked someone what it does, they told me and I said oh thats cool. I said its not free is it and they told me it took a percentage. I don't remember what percent they said at the time, but when I heard that I said to myself no way. I would just get some paper rolls from the bank and put my change in those and take them to the bank. I listen to some kinda audiobook while I do it now, so if it takes a couple hours I'm at least listening to something I can learn from. I think its a good time to listen to my learning spanish audiobooks. Wouldn't that be funny I learn a decent amount of spanish all while I am counting change.

I used Coinstar once. That was enough. I went to my bank the next time.

I just figured the 10 or 12 % will offset the coins you dropped in over the last 2 months

GAME IS CLOSED.

The money has been deposited. I won't know the exact amount for a couple days. The initial "exit returns" show that it will be in the $500-$600 range.

Also, for those of you who entered with a duplicate entry (someone before you entered that number) you are automatically DISQUALIFIED. There are several duplicate entries.
