Hello my name is Luke I’m 27 from New Jersey. I always wanted to be an entrepreneur and usually lived unscripted but I was living a little too fast and got wrapped up in selling drugs for years and being young and dumb and eventually got caught in July 2019. Now I’m about to go to prison in June for hopefully a short stay of 6 months and be released on a program to finish the remaining time of my sentence. I read all 3 of MJs books and I loved them and it really opened my eyes even wider. I always knew I wanted to work for myself but these books are really inspiring for me to actually pull the trigger . I currently am a Union Millwright and make $52 an hour which is pretty decent in my opinion and I have a mortgage on a decent home and have good credit ,So I’m not a total failure lol but anyway, I’ve been researching about real estate for a while now before I read these books and would like to pursue that to make some money and eventually roll those funds into a vegan frozen food business as I am a vegan and veganism is growing fast and i really enjoy it. Do you think that’s a decent plan for when I get out of prison? Work as a millwright, stack some money, hopefully flip a house or 2 and invest those funds into a vegan frozen food business? Or should I stick with just one plan? And also any good book recommendations I should read while in prison or any other advice would be appreciated thank you in advance!
